Mechanical Movements in Beaumont Basement

Our team are working with Vulcan Building Services this week, at the luxurious Beaumont hotel in Mayfair, London.

As part of an ongoing refurbishment programme, the hotel are creating an additional 30 guest rooms, requiring the installation of new plant into the existing lower basement plant rooms, in order to serve the increase in demand on building services.

Consisting of multiple Air Handling Units (AHUs), water heaters, cylinders, pump sets, booster sets and water treatment systems, the equipment was all lowered by our experienced lifting professionals through a large access hole in the ground floor, into the lower basement. To carry this out, we utilised a 6-meter porta-gantry system, as well as electric hoists.

Now safely in position, the new plant is ready for connection, all in time for the grand reopening programme.
