Chiller Changeover at Brighton Hospital…

Last weekend, Mechanical Movements successfully completed the first phase of a major chiller changeover at Brighton Hospital in Sussex.

Using a colossal 300-tonne crane, our team of experts worked strategically to dismantle the old chiller, ensuring it was at a safe working weight for the crane’s radius, removing a section in order to smoothly navigate through tight access areas.

This is just the beginning of an HVAC transformation at the Hospital, as this is just the first phase of a three-phase operation to replace all of the chillers at the site, with the enhancements to the hospital’s infrastructure undoubtedly resulting in better efficiency and comfort for all the patients, staff and visitors.

The delivery and removal of all the plant and equipment went without a hitch, thanks to the hard work and skill of the Mechanical Movements team.
