Clerkenwell Contract Lift

Last weekend, Mechanical Movements were back in central London completing a contract lift for M&E Contractor Ergro.

Using a AT7 Spierings crane, our lifting specialists removed a substantial 13tonne AHU, replacing it with a newer, more efficient unit. Using the same mobile tower crane, the new AHU was successfully delivered and carefully manoeuvred into its final position within the 12^th floor of a university building, located in Clerkenwell.

Due to the busy London location, our expert team were required to conduct traffic management including the implementation of a partial road closure and a 4-way traffic light system. Wide load permits were also required so that the old components could be transported from site back to our yard for recycling.
