Data Centre AHU Installation in Peterborough…

Mechanical Movements have been working at a large Data Centre in Peterborough for one of our longstanding clients Phoenix. The project consisted of installing several external Air Handling Units (AHUs), Internal AHUs and a large amount of switch gear and control panels.

The substantial list of AHUs & switch gear consists of:

• 50 x 1500kg Internal AHUs
• 25 x 4500kg External AHUs
• Internal Switch Gear 2000kg

To complete the installation our expert team used a mobile tower crane to install the external AHUs and utilised our 20m telehandler to lift the internal AHUs, switch gear and control panels up to the 3^rd floor. Once the components were lifted to the 3^rd floor our specialised team took control of the loads manoeuvring them into the plant room and in final positions.
