Every Lift Helps

We have been lifting loads in Snodland in Kent this week, replacing a 10m high suspended fan coil unit at a busy supermarket storage and distribution facility.

First installing four new wire hoists within the warehouse ceiling void, we then lowered them down and connected them onto the lifting channels in the bottom of the redundant unit, removing the supporting drop rods and lowering to finally extract from site.

The new 4m long fan coil unit, weighing 1.4tons, was then manoeuvred into position at ground level and connected with hoists onto the lifting points, before being raised back into place to reconnect onto the supporting drop rods.

The replacement went quickly and smoothly, all whist the distribution centre remained fully operational.
