Going Above and Beyond

Our team have completed the lifting of commercial heating and air conditioning equipment, into the basement of this 12 storey, mixed use, new build construction site on Featherstone Street, Shoreditch.

We delivered no. 3 Air Handling Units (AHUS), a 2700kg Combined Heat and Power (CHP) unit, no.2 Boilers and no. 6 Pumps on rigid flatbed lorries, to the ground level loading bay. Using the on-site tower crane and lifting gear we lifted all sections up and over the tower, before carefully lowering into the basement via the light well.

All equipment was landed onto movement devices, before we manoeuvred the units into their final positions within the multiple plant rooms.

The project went smoothly, assisting a well-timed final M&E installation phase on this prominent central London tower build.
