Mechanical Movements Go Back to School

Mechanical Movements were in Buckinghamshire yesterday, delivering and lifting a prefabricated packaged plant skid into the plant room of Burnham Grammar School, who are constructing their brand new 3 storey secondary teaching facility.

Using a 66 tonne crane with a 14m radius, we lifted the 9300kg plant unit from the flatbed delivery lorry which was positioned in parking bays adjacent to the site, before lifting the plant over the boundary fence and onto a platform deck, and then using our telehandler to move it into its final position within the ground floor plant room.

Our team strategically coordinated the cordoning of the site boundary and pedestrian walkways, ensuring a safely enclosed lifting area and smooth delivery operation, completed in time for the M&E contractor to carry out their connections.
