‘Performing’ at The Royal Albert Hall

Mechanical Movements were ‘performing’ at the Royal Albert Hall this Monday.

Working until late in the evening on the deconstruction and removal of 4 expired commercial boilers, each weighing 2.5 tonnes, as well as removing all of the associated base framework.

To manage the project safely within this iconic and access restricted building, we temporarily removed various door frames to assist our exit route, as well as designing and constructing our own steel ramp system in order to safely transport the plant.

Using pallet trucks, we navigated the heavy equipment away from the plant room, through a service exit and onto our lorry in the outside loading bay using steel ramps.

Facilitating this plant replacement project at such a historic London landmark was a privilege and we are proud to have completed the works quickly and safely.
