Cooling Tower Replacement in Canary Wharf 🏢

Last week, Mechanical Movements successfully completed a significant, year-and-eight-month-long project involving the replacement of the cooling towers at a prestigious office high-rise in Canary Wharf.

The project involved removing 12 redundant water towers and replacing them with 9 new, highly efficient units. Each cooling tower was flat-packed and carefully manoeuvred in and out by hand with precision, ensuring the safe handling of over 300 tonnes of materials. Additionally, our specialist team installed full access gantries, including high-level, mid-level rear, and low-level front installations, to ensure smooth and efficient operations for the building’s maintenance.

The project was completed on schedule, with strict adherence to health and safety protocols. A huge congratulations to the team for another flawless and safe operation.
