Communal Heating in Hounslow

Mechanical Movements were working hard in Hounslow last week at the residential new build construction site – Bath Road.

The 7 storey apartment building is creating 176 new homes, as well as 539m2 of Commercial Space, and is near completion. Mechanical Movements were instructed to facilitate the installation of the communal plant equipment, consisting of 2no boilers, 2 water heaters and 2no 2500kg vessels each 4.5m tall.

We manoeuvered all into the lower ground plant room by first building a landing deck (as the ground was low and insufficient), using sleepers and steel road plates. We then used our lorries to deliver all plant from our secure yard storage facility, before positioning everything into final placing using our 3500kg all-terrain telehandler.
