Movements in Maidenhead

Earlier this month, the Mechanical Movements team undertook a chiller replacement job at AbbVie House, a biopharmaceutical company located in Maidenhead, Berkshire.

Our team were responsible for the removal of all redundant plant, including old chiller parts and adjoining pipework, as well as the removal of bird netting from the roof in order to gain access before lifting could commence.

After storing and delivering the replacement Daikin chillers to site, we used a Demag AC-160 at a 22m radius, to successfully lift each 4750kg component into its final position within the plant room, before carefully re-installing the protective bird netting following completion of the works.
