Not Our Usual “Plant”

At Mechanical Movements, we are used to managing the movement of industrial plant to support our clients’ M&E projects, but on this occasion, we were asked to lift and transport some ACTUAL plants!

Working in White City recently, we used our flatbed Hiab lorries to carefully lift 8 giant potted trees, each weighing 4 tonnes, before moving them all into temporary storage.

The plants have been moved to make way for the erection of a necessary scaffold hoist, as part of a nearby construction project on this university campus. They will remain in storage for 8 months until we put them back in their pride of place again.
