Ain’t ‘Snow’ Stopping Us Now

Our contract lifting team had a busy and chilly weekend last week, managing a full road closure and rooftop plant removal project at Bank in Central London.

Closing Bartholomew Lane off Threadneedle Street at the Bank of England for 2 days, during snowfall, was no small task, but we managed to successfully complete all works on time and with minimal disruption to traffic or pedestrians.

Using our 350 tonne crane, with a 55m high boom and 48m luffer, in order to achieve a 40m lifting radius, we removed a 28 tonne generator and associated plant and steelwork, from the roof of a 10 storey office tower block at this prominent busy London junction.

All completed in weather conditions that were ‘snow’ match for Mechanical Movements!
